Greeley Daily Brief: Ballots arrive, crash investigation, and school meetings ahead

Citywide election ballots are now arriving

Ballots are officially in the mail for Greeley’s upcoming special election scheduled for February 24. The citywide vote focuses on Ballot Issue 1A, which asks voters whether a recently adopted city ordinance should be repealed.

Registered voters have multiple options for returning their ballots. Completed ballots may be mailed back or placed in one of the city’s secure ballot drop boxes. To be counted, ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on election day.

City officials are encouraging residents to return ballots as early as possible. Mailing ballots early or using drop boxes can help avoid delays and ensure votes are counted on time.
