Lebanon sets Oct. 9 portal launch and Oct. 22 process start
Lebanon is scheduled to make new development applications available through GeoCivix on Oct. 9, followed by a revised city review process beginning Oct. 22, according to the cityโs development-process page.
The city says the changes respond to Tennessee Public Chapter 1044 and directs applicants to a Development Policies & Procedures Guide dated Sept. 25, 2026. CREDA Middle Tennessee separately reports that the revised process will require a comprehensive submission checklist and pre-submission meetings. CREDA also says engineers will have five calendar days to respond after receiving comments on a submitted plan.
Public Chapter 1044 concerns local development-application and plan review, and the Tennessee General Assembly lists Jan. 1, 2027, as its effective date. The two Lebanon dates are scheduled before the statewide lawโs effective date. For people and organizations filing with the city, the October dates mark when the new portal and review process are due to start.
