Lightning postpones Sunny Hills–Fullerton game to Saturday

Lightning postponed the Sunny Hills at Fullerton football game, moving it from its reported Friday, Oct. 23, date to Saturday, Oct. 24, at 7 p.m. at Fullerton, the host site. The change shifted the matchup by one day and gave both teams and prospective attendees a replacement evening schedule.
MaxPreps had listed the game for Friday at 7 p.m. at Fullerton, consistent with the Friday date cited in local sports reports. But the Fullerton Joint Union High School District’s Sunny Hills calendar lists varsity football at Fullerton on Thursday, Oct. 22. The conflicting date is unresolved; contemporaneous sports reports identify Friday as the postponed game date.
OC Sports Zone and an Orange County Register report listed Saturday’s 7 p.m. kickoff. Their rescheduling coverage did not establish whether the game later began or was completed, so the listed kickoff is not confirmation of a final result.
