Magnolia Town Hall summer meals run through Aug. 10
Free Magnolia Town Hall meals for children 18 and under run Mondays through Aug. 10, and SUN Bucks may help eligible families buy groceries.
Magnolia families have a nearby summer food option at Town Hall. The Town of Magnolia says free meals are available there for children 18 and under, with no registration required. Daily pickup ran June 8-26, and the remaining schedule is Mondays from June 29 through August 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
That can matter fast when school is out. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks become a daily cost again, and a local no-cost pickup site can ease that pressure for parents, grandparents, and other caregivers.
How SUN Bucks fits in
Families may also want to check USDA’s SUN Bucks program. USDA says the summer grocery benefit provides $120 per eligible school-age child when school is out. In participating states, some children are automatically enrolled if their household receives benefits such as SNAP or TANF, while others may need to apply.
USDA’s North Carolina page says SUN Bucks is available in the state and points families to the state agency for details. Duplin County Schools’ Child Nutrition page also says complete student breakfast and lunch meals are provided at no cost for the 2025-26 school year through the Community Eligibility Program, and Rose Hill-Magnolia Elementary links families to summer meals and SUN Bucks information.
Bottom line: Magnolia Town Hall has a no-registration summer meal option through August 10, and SUN Bucks may offer extra grocery help for eligible households. Checking the town and district pages before heading out is still a good idea in case details change.
