A new Galentineโ€™s girls night out is set for this coming Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m., with more than a dozen Marshalltown shops taking part downtown and along 13th Street. Shoppers will be able to move from store to store for special deals, refreshments, activities and prize drawings. An appointment committee for Marshall County has now interviewed eight candidates to fill the Board of Supervisors seat left vacant by the recent passing of Kevin Goodman.
