Missoula, MT — January 29, 2026 — A 35-year-old Kalispell man, Joshua Stephen Roybal, was arrested in Missoula on January 24 on federal drug dealing charges. Roybal faces counts of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The FBI Montana Regional Violent Crime Task Force, in cooperation with the Missoula County Sheriff’s Office, investigated the case. Roybal made his first appearance in federal court in Missoula on Monday. This arrest highlights ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
