New Cordell announced March 25 that City Hall will move to the former CK Energy Electric office at 120 W. 1st Street in Cordell. The city said the transition is expected to take place over the next few months.
The new municipal address is listed as 120 W. 1st Street, Cordell, Oklahoma 73632. The relocation may affect where residents and businesses go for permits, payments, records, meetings and other city services as the transition proceeds.
What residents should know
The city’s announcement did not set a final date for completing the move or say whether all departments will relocate at the same time. It also did not announce service interruptions or new operating hours. The city’s official website continues to identify New Cordell/Cordell as its municipal service location, and a June 9 city update shows that municipal communications continued during the relocation period.
The next known step is the move itself, which the city expects to unfold over several months. Residents with city business should check the City of New Cordell’s official communications for updated instructions as the transition advances.
