Ninnekah Public Schools moved 2026-27 enrollment to in-person registration
Ninnekah Public Schools shifted enrollment for the 2026-27 school year to an in-person process, requiring all new and returning students to register at Ninnekah High School rather than rely on online enrollment.
The district scheduled the registration window for July 7 through July 10, 2026. Registration covered every grade from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade and took place at the high school, 904 E. Dell Street, Ninnekah, OK 73067.
Registration hours were split across four days
Families could register from noon to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, and again from noon to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 9. The district offered morning and afternoon hours from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, and Friday, July 10.
That registration period had ended by Aug. 6, 2026, when the districtโs enrollment notice was visible in the approved district source packet. The available information documents the change and the completed registration window; it does not establish whether every family completed enrollment or whether the district has reopened registration.
Documents families were asked to bring
The district listed parent identification, proof of residency and immunization records among the required or requested materials. New students were also asked to provide a birth certificate and Social Security card.
Students were expected to sign school forms during the visit and have school identification photographs taken. That means families needed to arrange an in-person visit during one of the four scheduled time blocks and gather records before arriving.
Ninnekah Public Schools did not state in the available notice why it changed enrollment to an in-person process. The packet also does not indicate that the requirement was imposed by the state or that the district permanently eliminated online enrollment beyond the 2026-27 process.
Enrollment questions
The district provided callen@ninnekah.k12.ok.us for enrollment questions. The districtโs home page lists Ninnekah Public Schools at 904 E. Dell Street and gives the main telephone number as 405-224-4092.
For Ninnekah families, the practical change was the requirement to appear at the high school with documentation instead of completing the enrollment process entirely online. The available district information does not identify a new deadline after the July 7-10 window.
