North Yarmouth voters face county commissioner choice Nov. 3

North Yarmouth voters will choose a Cumberland County commissioner for District 3 on Nov. 3, 2026. A Portland Press Herald ballot guide dated Oct. 13 lists Democrat Amy Leshure and Independent Robert P. Vail as candidates. North Yarmouth is part of the county’s 3rd commissioner district.

The Town of North Yarmouth says voters may vote absentee in person at the Town Office during office hours, request a ballot by mail or use the online request service. Thursday, Oct. 29, is the last day to request an absentee ballot. The town says ballots must be returned by 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 3, and links a sample ballot for the election.
