Local reports said Amarillo police arrested three men Saturday, Oct. 24, in connection with the Thursday killing of Bradley Thompson, 48. KFDA reported that Skyler Lee Mensen, 33, was arrested for murder; KFOX reported he was charged with murder. The homicide was reported near the 4000 block of South Polk Street.
The three arrests do not amount to three homicide charges. Reports described the other two arrests as involving separate narcotics or federal-hold and parole-violation matters, and did not identify either man as charged in Thompsonโs death.
KFOX reported that the Amarillo Police Departmentโs homicide unit continued investigating. KFDA said additional charges were expected; that was an expectation, not confirmation of another charge. The reports describe an arrest and charge, not a conviction.
