Independence Hall Reopens After Renovations
Independence Hall has reopened after a two-month closure for renovations in preparation for America’s 250th anniversary. Visitors can now tour the historic site, which has undergone significant preservation work. The reopening is celebrated with special discounts and giveaways, including custom-baked cookies for the first 250 visitors who present a ticket or ticket stub at the Independence Visitor Center desk. The Independence Visitor Center Café is offering discounts on celebratory “Colonial Cocoa,” and the Betsy Ross House is providing $2 off admission. These promotions are available from Thursday through Sunday, February 1.
