Fire departments from Doolittle and Rolla answered multiple 911 calls around 6 a.m. Thursday for a two-story home on fire near Ponchoโs Garage along Highway T outside Newburg.๎cite๎turn2view0๎

Rolla man charged in meth and fentanyl case
A Rolla man has been charged in Phelps County Circuit Court after officers say they found methamphetamine and fentanyl during an arrest at the end of January.๎cite๎turn4view0๎
Court documents say an officer responded to a trespassing complaint on January 31 involving Dennis B. Geren Jr., born in 1975, who had previously been barred from the property.๎cite๎turn4view0๎
During booking, police reported seizing a bag with about 19.6 grams of a crystal substance, dozens of multicolored capsules, pipes, syringes, small baggies and a scale, with field tests indicating methamphetamine and fentanyl. Free legal clinic coming for local veterans
State Sen. Justin Brown is urging veterans in Phelps County and nearby communities to sign up for a free โTigers for Troopsโ legal clinic scheduled Thursday, February 12, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rolla.๎cite๎turn1search6๎
