San Bernardino Waterman off-ramp set for 55-hour closure
Caltrans plans a full 55-hour closure of the eastbound SR-210 Waterman Avenue off-ramp in San Bernardino. The ramp is scheduled to be unavailable from 11 p.m. Oct. 16, 2026, until 6 a.m. Oct. 19.
The closure is part of Caltransโ $7.2 million project at the off-ramp and Waterman Avenue overcrossing. Planned work includes widening the ramp section leading onto the overcrossing from two lanes to three, modifying traffic signals, and installing guardrails and retaining walls. Caltrans says the project is intended to improve traffic flow, reduce congestion and improve safety.
The City of San Bernardino says the eastbound H Street and E Street on-ramps may also close temporarily if needed for safety. The city notice gives no times for those possible closures. Drivers should watch for construction signs and follow posted detour instructions.
