Schuyler Community Schools Included in Nebraska CTE Grant Program
Schuyler Community Schools has been identified as one of 19 districts participating in an ESU 7 reVISION Action Grant project for the 2026-27 grant year. The Nebraska Department of Education formally announced the awards after the State Board of Education approved them on June 5, 2026.
The project is designed to modernize and expand career and technical education in ways aligned with Nebraska workforce needs. For Schuyler students, the participation could affect career preparation, course offerings or equipment as the project moves forward. The announcement establishes Schuyler’s participation in the regional project; it does not say that new courses or equipment are already in place.
What remains unavailable
The award period runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The next known step is the start of that grant period. The available state information does not identify the total award amount, Schuyler Community Schools’ individual share, or specific Schuyler courses, equipment or facilities that may receive funds.
Because ESU 7 submitted a project representing 19 districts, the available information does not support treating the grant as a standalone award to Schuyler. Further local spending or implementation details were not included in the approved announcement.
