Stormy Pattern Settles In

Forecasters say Saturday evening carried the greatest risk for stronger storms, while Sunday may still see scattered showers with milder temperatures.

Looking ahead, early next week could feel almost springlike, with highs climbing into the 70s before another cooldown later in the week.

Road Closures Around M&T Bank Stadium

Saturday’s high-profile soccer match between D.C. United and Inter Miami CF brought heavy traffic to the stadium district. City transportation officials implemented road closures and special traffic patterns around Russell Street, Hamburg Street Bridge and surrounding corridors.

Drivers were urged to use public transit, including Light Rail and Metro Subway services, to ease congestion. Event traffic is expected to taper off, but residual delays may linger near the stadium area.

Adaptive Bikes for Local Children

Looking ahead to Friday, March 13, the ACMG Foundation will host a Day of Caring at the Baltimore Convention Center. The event will provide customized adaptive bicycles to children receiving care at Kennedy Krieger Institute.

The annual tradition brings together medical professionals and families for a hands-on presentation aimed at improving mobility and independence for children with genetic conditions.
