Police are working to identify suspects after a home on Escott Avenue was struck by heavy gunfire early Tuesday. Investigators said more than 50 rounds were fired, damaging windows and the roof and even puncturing a gas line. No one was inside the home at the time, and crews responded to make the scene safe while the investigation continued.
Police also said evidence and witness accounts connect this incident to another shooting nearby days earlier, suggesting the cases may be related.

A Toledo mother has filed a lawsuit against Little Miracle’s Childcare Center, alleging she found the building dark and locked when she arrived for pickup and discovered her young child inside with no staff present.
