Plaza West Covina Hosts Free Lunar New Year Celebration

Today, Plaza West Covina is celebrating the Lunar New Year with a free event from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The festivities include live music, complimentary face painting, and cultural performances such as traditional lion dances and a martial arts demonstration. The first 300 attendees will receive a lucky red envelope with a special giveaway prize. The event is open to all ages and takes place in the Center Court of Plaza West Covina. Planning Commission Approves New Adult Day Center

The West Covina Planning Commission has unanimously approved a conditional use permit for an 18,245-square-foot adult day health center at 702 North Azusa Avenue. The facility, part of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), is expected to begin serving participants in mid-2026. The center aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services to seniors in the community.
