Fatal Hit-and-Run Incident on Westminster Boulevard
On the night of February 2, 2026, a man in his 40s or 50s was fatally struck in a hit-and-run accident near Westminster Boulevard and Yockey Street. Despite efforts by paramedics from the Orange County Fire Authority, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect vehicle, described as a new, dark-colored sedan, fled eastbound on Westminster Boulevard. Wind Advisory Issued for Westminster
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Westminster, effective from 4 AM Wednesday to noon Thursday. East winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected, with isolated gusts reaching 55 mph.
