The Broward Sheriffโs Office identified Gustavo โGusโ Ormo as the man found dead in a Weston homeโs pool on Oct. 16, according to a Miami Herald report published Oct. 19. The identification was reported three calendar days after the discovery.
Deputies received a possible-drowning call around 9 a.m. at a home near the 2100 block of Quail Roost Drive, NBC 6 reported. The sheriffโs office described the death as suspicious, but that description does not establish that Ormo drowned or explain how he died.
As of the Heraldโs Oct. 19 report, the Broward County Medical Examinerโs Office was conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death, and the sheriffโs investigation remained open and active. No final finding was reported in the Heraldโs Oct. 19 account.
