Westwood seeks development partner for former Westwood View school site

WESTWOOD, Kan. — The City of Westwood has begun accepting proposals from potential development partners for the former Westwood View Elementary School site at 2511 W. 50th Street, opening a formal process for determining what could come next for the prominent redevelopment area.

The city issued its request for proposals on June 11, 2026. The proposal-review period is scheduled to end July 9, 2026. A new search after an earlier agreement ended
