Woodbridge Elementary Set to Open Aug. 24 as Boundaries Shift

Woodbridge Elementary is scheduled to open students on Aug. 24, 2026, giving families in parts of Woodbridge a new school to prepare for as Prince William County Public Schools changes some elementary attendance assignments.

The school is located at 1550 Prince William Parkway and will serve students during the 2026-27 school year. Important dates for families

Transportation information, including bus details, is scheduled to be available Aug. 14. The school’s open house is planned for Aug. 20, four days before the first day for students. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Sept. 9.

Attendance assignments are changing

The boundary changes do not mean every student or residence associated with those schools or neighborhoods will move to Woodbridge Elementary.
