Saturday @ Zephyr Park anchors the day

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday @ Zephyr Park turns 5th Avenue into a relaxed open-air market. Shoppers can browse artisan vendors, meet local nonprofits, support homegrown small businesses and grab lunch or coffee from food trucks while the kids enjoy the playground and lake views.

Fancy Flea brings vintage finds downtown

Just a few blocks away, the Fancy Flea vintage market is set up along downtown’s Main Street corridor from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Booths feature antiques, shabby-chic décor, handmade crafts and garden pieces, drawing visitors from across Pasco County into Zephyrhills’ historic core. Expect heavier-than-usual foot traffic and some lane closures around 5th Avenue as vendors break down later in the afternoon.

Big Game showcase and car show at the Elks

Sports fans and gearheads have a home base on Wire Road, where Zephyrhills Elks Lodge #2731 is hosting a Big Game Saturday Showcase starting at 10 a.m. The day includes a judged car and truck show, food, music and plenty of football talk ahead of Sunday’s matchup. Organizers bill it as a family-friendly event, with spectators welcome even if they are not entering a vehicle.

Looking ahead: City Council meets Monday

City Hall will be the focal point Monday evening as the Zephyrhills City Council holds its regular meeting at 6 p.m. at 5335 8th Street. Residents who want to follow growth, transportation and parks issues are encouraged to review the agenda in advance and either attend in person or listen in through the city’s public meeting audio options. City staff also continue to promote the Zephyrhills Alerts text and email system for emergency notices and road or utility updates.
