Republican Sen. Ashley Moody won Florida’s U.S. Senate special election against Democrat Angie Nixon, according to Decision Desk HQ. The result keeps the seat in Republican hands.
DDHQ’s Nov. 4, 3:00 a.m. Eastern returns showed Moody with 4,207,774 votes, or 50.87%, and Nixon with 3,968,811 votes, or 47.98%, with more than 95% reporting. Moody led by 238,963 votes in that snapshot.
