CMS Sets Nationwide Medicaid Work-Requirement Framework for 2027
An interim final rule from CMS will require certain adult Medicaid applicants and enrollees to document 80 hours of work, education, training or community service each month.

Indiana Medicaid Work Requirements Set to Begin Jan. 1 as State Releases Implementation Details
Indiana has released implementation details for Healthy Indiana Plan work requirements scheduled to begin Jan. 1, 2027. The rules will affect new applicants and existing HIP members, with a public Medicaid advisory meeting set for Aug. 11.
