PENNVEST announced funding for 29 drinking-water and wastewater projects across 23 Pennsylvania counties, using state and federal dollars that include Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act funds.
Watsontown Borough is included in the Milton Regional Sewer Authority’s Northern Neighbors service area, supported by a $2.3 million PENNVEST grant and a $7.5 million loan.
The Somerset Borough Municipal Authority says Phase 1C is out for bids, with construction expected in October or November 2026. Phase 1D faces a July 29 PENNVEST application deadline.
