Leadership Fort Wayne Class of 2026 Kicks Off
Fort Wayne’s Leadership Fort Wayne (LFW) program has launched its Class of 2026, welcoming 60 participants dedicated to strengthening community leadership. The program, now in its 44th year, offers a comprehensive nine-month curriculum designed to deepen understanding of local issues and develop leadership abilities.
Program Overview
Participants will engage in monthly sessions covering topics such as economic development, public safety, education, and health services. The initiative aims to equip individuals with the skills necessary to make meaningful contributions to Fort Wayne and Allen County.
Historical Context
Since its inception in 1983, LFW has graduated over 1,700 individuals. Many alumni have gone on to lead nonprofit boards, hold elected office, or start their businesses, making a lasting impact on the region.
