Suspect in Custody After Livonia Barricade Situation
On February 3, 2026, Michigan State Police responded to a barricade situation in the 35000 block of Pickford Court, near 7 Mile Road and Wayne Road. The suspect, wanted on an in-state felony warrant, had barricaded themselves inside a residence and was refusing to come out. Negotiations lasted several hours before the suspect was taken into custody. Residents in the area experienced a heavy police presence during the incident.
