Town Manager Report Released as Indian Trail Wraps Up Storm Recovery
Indian Trail is closing out a week of winter recovery with a fresh update from town leadership and a return to normal operations after recent storms.
Town Manager shares biweekly update
The Town of Indian Trail released its February 6 Town Manager’s Report, offering residents a snapshot of ongoing projects, department activity, and operational updates across town. The report is part of a twice-monthly schedule and is meant to keep residents informed between Town Council meetings.
While the full report is available online, the timing reflects a transition back to regular routines following multiple weather-related disruptions over the past two weeks. Town staff noted continued coordination across departments as services normalize.
Facilities reopen after winter storms
Town Hall and municipal facilities are now fully reopened after temporary closures earlier this week caused by lingering impacts from Winter Storm Gianna. Officials closed offices as a safety precaution while crews addressed icy conditions and refreezing on roadways.
During the closures, residents were encouraged to use online services for permits, applications, and service requests. Those services remain available as a convenient option, even as in-person operations resume.
Trash and recycling schedules back on track
Solid waste and recycling collection, which was delayed earlier in the week, is returning to its normal schedule. Friday customers whose pickup was missed are scheduled for Saturday service, with allowances made for extra bags after the disruption.
Town officials reminded residents to stay alert for overnight freezing conditions, particularly on bridges and shaded roads, even as daytime temperatures improve. Crews continue monitoring high-traffic areas to reduce hazards.
With weather impacts easing and a new manager’s report in hand, Indian Trail heads into the weekend focused on steady recovery and routine town business.
