Police seek help finding woman missing since Valentine’s weekend

Detroit police are asking for the public’s help locating Karen Spann, who went missing over Valentine’s weekend after leaving her home on the 16200 block of Wormer on Saturday, February 14. Family members reported her missing the next day.

Investigators say Spann, 61, left home without sharing plans and did not return. She is described as 5-foot-6 with a medium build. Police have released her photo and are asking anyone who may have seen her or has information about her whereabouts to contact Detroit police or Crime Stoppers.

The department continues to review tips and neighborhood camera footage as the search enters its third day.
