Frederick County lists Brunswick’s Aug. 4 municipal election as canceled

Frederick County’s official 2026 municipal-election schedule lists the Town of Brunswick’s municipal election, scheduled for Aug. 4, 2026, as canceled.

On the county’s election page, the Aug. 4 date is struck through and labeled “canceled.” The same entry lists July 14, 2026, as Brunswick’s registration deadline.

Those Walkersville dates remain distinct from the canceled Brunswick entry. Their presence on the schedule does not explain Brunswick’s cancellation or establish that Brunswick will follow a similar timeline.
