Franklin municipal electricity program sets $0.15-per-kilowatt-hour standard rate

Franklin’s municipal aggregation program will automatically enroll eligible basic-service electricity customers who receive the town’s notice unless they opt out by Aug. 19, 2026. The town’s standard program rate is $0.15 per kilowatt-hour.

The notice, posted on the Town of Franklin’s official website, applies to eligible consumers who received the notification. It does not mean that every electricity customer in Franklin will automatically be enrolled.

Customers who do not want to participate must opt out by the stated deadline. Those who take no action by Aug. 19 are scheduled for automatic enrollment under the town’s standard program rate.
