Rhode Island early voting runs through Nov. 2 at 4 p.m.
In-person early voting for Rhode Islandโs Nov. 3, 2026, general election began Oct. 14 and is scheduled to continue through 4 p.m. Nov. 2. The 20-calendar-day period ends the day before Election Day, according to the stateโs election calendar.
Registered voters may cast ballots at a site designated by their city or town, including a municipal hall or another locally designated location. The Board of Elections describes early voting as an option for a voter unable to cast a ballot at the voterโs designated polling place on Election Day. Municipalities set sites and hours, and the Department of State advises voters to check local election information before going.
The Board says voters must present acceptable photo ID to check in. The Department of State says voters who do not bring acceptable ID can submit an emergency mail ballot application.
