No Kings rallies urge early voting 17 days before midterms
No Kings rallies took place in communities across the United States on Saturday, Oct. 17, with organizers urging voters to cast ballots early or participate in the Nov. 3 midterm elections. The Associated Press reported events in cities and communities across the country.
Separate local reports documented gatherings in Manhattan and Southern California. CBS New York reported hundreds of people at a rally in Washington Square Park in Manhattan. The Los Angeles Times reported several hundred people at a downtown Los Angeles rally and more than a dozen rallies and marches across parts of Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties.
The Times also reported that a speaker described the Los Angeles demonstration as significantly smaller than past protests; the paper said a March rally drew thousands downtown. The Federal Election Commission lists Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, as the next regularly scheduled federal general election. It falls 17 days after the rallies.
