Melissa Anne Dunn identified after fatal Wyomissing crash
The Berks County Coroner identified Melissa Anne Dunn, 65, of Earl Township, as the pedestrian who died from injuries sustained in a Nov. 4, 2026, crash in Wyomissing. The coroner’s release says Dunn was taken to Tower Health/Reading Hospital. Wyomissing police investigated the crash in the 800 block of Penn Avenue.
A Nov. 5 report by Berks Weekly said the victim’s name was being withheld pending family notification, one day before the coroner’s identification. The outlet placed the crash at about 5:15 p.m. The coroner’s release says emergency-room physicians notified its office at 5:57 p.m. on Nov. 4.
The investigation remains ongoing. Berks Weekly reported on Nov. 5 that authorities had not released further details about the vehicle or driver. Witnesses or anyone with information can call Wyomissing police at 610-375-6102.
