Baby Brezza recalls about 29,000 dryers over burn risk
Baby Brezza Enterprises LLC is voluntarily recalling about 29,000 SuperFast Sterilizer Dryers sold in the United States because they can overheat while plugged in and operating. The Consumer Product Safety Commission notice, dated Nov. 5, 2026, says handling a hot surface could cause a burn.
Baby Brezza reported 32 incidents involving overheating or melting plastic housings. No injuries had been reported in the U.S. recall notice. The incident count describes reports of product problems, not reported injuries.
Check the model number, not just the brand
The recall covers three models: BRZ0083, BRZ0154 and BRZ0156. The model number is printed on a label on the bottom of the dryer. Owners should compare the number on their unit with that list; the Baby Brezza name by itself does not establish that a product is included.
The affected dryers were sold from January 2024 through October 2026 for $160 to $180. TJ Maxx and Marshalls sold them in stores nationwide, and Baby Brezza, Target and Babylist sold them online.
Does buying from one of those retailers, or during that period, confirm that a dryer is recalled? No. Those details describe where and when the models were sold. The model number is the practical check: the notice identifies the three listed models, not every Baby Brezza product.
How to request a replacement
Owners of a matching U.S. unit should stop using it and unplug it. The recall offers a replacement dryer at no cost, including shipping. To request one, contact Baby Brezza through its recall page or use the contact details in the CPSC notice, then follow the recall instructions.
- Stop using the matching dryer and unplug it.
- Confirm its model number on the label on the bottom.
- Contact Baby Brezza to complete the recall process and request the free replacement.
- Follow the companyโs instructions for cutting the power cord and submitting requested photos, including product-identification and destruction photos.
The CPSC says consumers will be asked to provide those photos as part of the process. Dispose of the recalled dryer in accordance with local and state rules. The reported overheating and melting incidents explain the reason for the stop-use instruction; they do not change the model-based way owners can check whether their unit is covered.
