AAA’s June 16 fuel check shows New York averages of $4.338 for regular and $5.721 for diesel. In the Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro, AAA shows $4.446 for regular and $5.817 for diesel. That puts the Gowanda station about $1.29 below the New York regular average and about $1.40 below the Buffalo-area regular average. Diesel is about $1.73 below the New York average and about $1.83 below the Buffalo-area average.
