Draper gas watch: Lone Peak 7-Eleven dips to $4.399 regular, $5.219 diesel
Draper’s Lone Peak 7-Eleven is 3 cents cheaper on regular gas than the 12300 South store, while diesel is tied. AAA’s Utah and Salt Lake City averages are easing.
Draper drivers comparing the two 7-Eleven stations in town will find a small spread on regular gas and no spread on diesel right now. The 12292 Lone Peak Pkwy store lists regular at $4.399 and diesel at $5.219, while the 692 E 12300 S store lists regular at $4.429 and diesel at $5.219.
That makes Lone Peak the cheaper regular-gas stop by 3 cents a gallon. Diesel is tied at both sites.
The Lone Peak station has also moved lower since the last check. Regular is down 8 cents from June 3, and diesel is down 10 cents from that same comparison.
AAA’s broader benchmark is easing too
AAA’s June 8 check puts Utah’s average regular gas at $4.415 and diesel at $5.332. In the Salt Lake City metro, the average is $4.268 for regular and $5.286 for diesel. Both averages are lower than yesterday, a week ago, and a month ago.
The federal Energy Information Administration’s June 2 update also shows U.S. regular gasoline and on-highway diesel lower than the prior week. For Draper readers, that matters most at the pump: commuters, households with multiple vehicles, contractors, delivery drivers, restaurants, and weekend travelers all feel even a few cents per gallon over time.
If you’re filling up around town, Lone Peak is the better regular-gas buy between these two 7-Elevens, diesel is identical, and the broader market is still drifting down. What highest and lowest pump prices are you seeing in Draper?
