Fontana gas stays split: regular $5.10-$5.40, diesel $6.40-$6.74
Fontana drivers still see a sharp station-to-station gap: regular gas runs from $5.099 to $5.399, while diesel spans $6.399 to $6.739.
Fontana drivers are still seeing a sharp split at the pump. On current 7-Eleven listings, regular gas runs from $5.099 at 16060 Jurupa Ave and 16096 Slover Avenue @ Citrus Ave to $5.399 at 13539 Baseline Ave. Diesel runs from $6.399 at 7285 Citrus Ave to $6.739 at Baseline, with 16060 Jurupa Ave listed at $6.579.
For regular gas, the cheapest visible price is unchanged from the last check, but the top visible price is higher. For diesel, the low end is still $6.399, while the highest visible price has edged lower than the previous check. Across the sampled stations, that’s a 30-cent spread on regular and a 34-cent spread on diesel.
Why the spread matters
That matters for commuters, households, contractors, delivery drivers, restaurants, and other small businesses that burn fuel every day. If you fill up more than once a week, even a few cents a gallon can add up fast.
AAA’s San Bernardino metro average is $5.434 for regular and $6.661 for diesel as of June 21, 2026. The Energy Information Administration’s latest U.S. weekly averages are lower at $4.052 for regular gasoline and $5.059 for on-highway diesel. Fontana’s visible pump prices still fit a pricey Southern California fuel market, even when one nearby station beats another.
