A new diverging diamond interchange at Interstate 70 and Picadilly Road is now open, marking a major traffic shift in northeast Aurora.
The redesign is intended to ease congestion, improve safety and better handle growth near the airport and surrounding developments. Drivers will notice traffic briefly crossing to the opposite side of the road through the interchange — a design transportation officials say reduces conflict points and keeps vehicles flowing more smoothly.

Aurora Athletes Compete at 5A State Tournaments
It is a big week for high school sports. Dozens of Aurora-area athletes are competing in the Class 5A state wrestling and girls swimming championships.
