Bargersville, Indiana brush and limb pickup starts April 6. Here’s the 2026 schedule and who qualifies

Bargersville’s curbside brush and limb pickup starts Monday, April 6, and runs through Sept. 21 for eligible neighborhoods only, with size and material limits.

Bargersville’s seasonal brush and limb pickup program starts Monday, April 6, 2026, giving eligible residents a set schedule for spring and summer trimming.

According to the Town of Bargersville, the service runs through Monday, September 21, 2026, and is limited to Bargersville residents in specific neighborhoods. That matters for homeowners planning yard work now, because the town does not offer this as a town-wide pickup for every address.

Who qualifies for pickup

The town says the program covers these neighborhoods: Old Town Bargersville, Al-Mar, Banta Woods, Claybourne, Country Meadows, Enclave, Harvest Grove, Hickory Estates, Highland Knoll, Jay-Dee Lane, Kerrington Proper, Morningside, Morris Meadows, Persimmon Woods, Saddle Club, Saddle Club South, Shadowood, Somerset, Three Notch, Timber Heights, Tremont, Wyncrest, and Whitetail Woods.

Ag-exempt areas do not receive the service.

2026 Bargersville pickup dates

Pickup is scheduled for the first and third Monday of each month. For 2026, the dates are:

  • April 6 and April 20
  • May 4 and May 18
  • June 1 and June 15
  • July 6 and July 20
  • August 3 and August 17
  • September 7 and September 21

For residents in eligible neighborhoods, that creates a predictable twice-monthly window to plan trimming instead of waiting for a one-off collection notice.

What can go to the curb — and what cannot

The town says limbs must be placed at the curb and must be 8 inches in diameter or smaller.

The town also lists several exclusions. Residents should not set out bags, shrub trimmings, leaves, or root balls with brush and limb pickup. In other words, the service is not a general yard-waste collection.

Bargersville also says residents who hire a third-party company for landscaping, trimming, or removal are responsible for disposing of that debris themselves. The curbside program does not apply to contractor-generated material.

Residents should also expect some flexibility in timing. The town says weather and pickup volume can alter the schedule, with possible delays of one to two days.

The practical takeaway: if your address is in one of the listed neighborhoods, separate eligible limbs from leaves and other yard waste before set-out day, keep limb size within the town’s limit, and do not assume a landscaping crew’s debris will be picked up by the town.
