Downtown gets a dose of self-care this afternoon as the Valentine’s Spirit Event takes over Inclusions Rock Shop on South Main. The healing-focused gathering runs from 2 to 5:30 p.m., offering foot detox soaks, massage and dry brushing sessions, plus tarot readings and other energy work for those looking to slow down and reset.

Entry is free, and guests pay only for the services they choose. Organizers are framing the event as a low-key way to mark the coming Valentine’s week, whether you bring a partner, a friend, or just carve out a little time for yourself between errands.

Art museum anchors a busy arts weekend

Last night’s “Paint Your Heart Out!” date night at the Brigham City Museum of Art & History kept the galleries open late, with couples and friend groups turning thrifted art into new pieces during a two-hour evening session. The museum extended hours from morning through 8 p.m., adding refreshments and make-your-own projects to its usual lineup.

Even with that event wrapped, the museum remains a solid stop today. Two winter exhibitions are still on view: a community Plein Air show highlighting Utah landscapes, and “The Pen is Mightier: Writing a Revolution,” a traveling exhibit that looks at how words and print culture pushed the American Revolution forward. Both shows are free and open this afternoon, giving residents an easy cultural option before or after downtown events.

Casino night for a cause

Tonight’s Annual Boys and Girls Club Casino/Bingo Night adds a bit of Las Vegas flair to Brigham City’s Saturday calendar. The fundraiser, listed on the local chamber’s event calendar, brings together games, prizes and social time to raise money for youth programs across Box Elder County.
