A Burien 7-Eleven listed regular gasoline at $5.149 and diesel at $6.699. AAAโs metro averages show different price patterns for the two fuels.
A 7-Eleven station in Burien was listing regular gasoline at $5.149 per gallon and diesel at $6.699 on the latest station page reviewed July 30. The location is 11657 Des Moines Memorial Drive South, Burien, WA 98168-1227, and the page says gas prices were updated within 24 hours.
Those figures are a station snapshot, not an official Burien-wide average. Diesel was $1.550 per gallon more expensive than regular gasoline at the featured location, a gap that matters most to diesel vehicle owners, delivery operators, contractors and businesses that rely on commercial vehicles.
How the Burien station compares
AAAโs July 29, 2026 price check put the Seattle-Bellevue-Everett metro average at $5.318 per gallon for regular gasoline and $6.280 for diesel. The featured Burien station was therefore listing regular gas about 17 cents below the metro average, while its diesel price was about 42 cents above the metro average.
For statewide context, AAA listed Washingtonโs average at $5.119 for regular gasoline and $6.137 for diesel on July 29. Those averages cover the entire state and should not be read as Burien-specific prices.
AAAโs metro comparison also showed different movements for the two fuels. The Seattle-Bellevue-Everett regular-gas average was up from $5.277 one week earlier but below the $5.508 average recorded one month earlier. The metro diesel average was up from $6.191 a week earlier but below the $6.340 monthly comparison.
Nearby prices can vary by station
A station-price tracker for ZIP code 98148, updated July 27, showed regular-gas listings from $4.99 to $5.99 among the stations checked. The listings included a Burien 76 station at $5.29. Because the tracker is labeled Seattle, Washington, 98148 and includes nearby listings, it shows local variation but does not provide a complete Burien average.
The available snapshot shows why drivers may want to compare several stations before filling up. A difference of about $1 per gallon can add up quickly for commuters, households with frequent driving, service businesses and delivery operators. Prices can also change after a listing is updated.
What drivers and businesses should watch
Regular-gas prices affect most commuters and households. Dieselโs higher price has a more direct effect on contractors, landscapers, construction companies, delivery fleets, commercial drivers and owners of diesel-powered vehicles. Restaurants and other businesses that depend on deliveries may also feel higher transportation costs indirectly.
These numbers are point-in-time listings rather than a guarantee of what every Burien station is charging. Drivers should confirm the posted pump price before filling up. What are the highest and lowest regular-gas or diesel prices you are seeing around Burien?
