Cache County property-value appeals open; Paradise owners have until Sept. 15 to seek review

Cache County opened its annual property-valuation appeal process Aug. 1, 2026, giving property owners in Paradise and throughout the county a defined period to ask for a review of the valuation assigned to their property.

The process is handled through the Cache County Board of Equalization. Property owners who want county review must submit a Request for Review by 5 p.m. Sept. 15, 2026. The valuation is used as the basis for property-tax calculations, making the appeal window relevant to homeowners and other property owners whose assessments may affect their tax bills.

Cache County’s public notice does not state how property values changed in Paradise for 2026, so the opening of the appeal process should not be treated as a statement that local taxes or assessments increased. Individual owners would need to review their own valuation information when deciding whether to seek review.

The next known step for a Paradise owner who wants the Board of Equalization to examine a valuation is to complete and submit the Request for Review before the 5 p.m. Sept. 15 deadline. The appeal process applies to property owners countywide, including those in Paradise.
