Federal Grant for Flood Mitigation

Tragic Stabbing Incident
A 73-year-old Cicero man, Urbano Diaz, was fatally stabbed on Saturday night. Police apprehended a suspect after a pursuit that ended in Chicago. Authorities believe the incident was isolated and pose no further threat to the community.
New Restaurant Opening
Taquería La Reina celebrated its grand opening on December 15, 2025, at 6026 W. 26th Street. The event was attended by local officials and community members, marking a new addition to Cicero’s dining scene.
