City Council Reviews Rezoning and Community Claims
Fayetteville City Council met March 5 to consider a full agenda of development and neighborhood issues. Among the key items were multiple rezoning requests, including land on South Willow Avenue, East Ash Street and near Stonebridge Meadows Golf Club. Council members also reviewed a proposal tied to a potential grocery store and gas station at Crossover and Zion roads.
In addition, the council discussed a sewer damage claim from a homeowner on North Fallin Avenue and procedural steps related to vacating land on East Center Street. The meeting signals continued growth pressures in several parts of the city, particularly in developing residential corridors.
