Columbia Station Lists Gas at $3.699, Diesel at $4.999
A 7-Eleven at 1535 Nashville Highway in Columbia currently lists regular gasoline at $3.699 per gallon and diesel at $4.999.
The listing is a snapshot from one Columbia station, not a verified citywide average. 7-Eleven says gas prices are updated within 24 hours, so drivers should check the pump or station listing before relying on the figures for a trip, fuel purchase or business estimate.
Regular gas is nearly even with the state average
AAA reported a Tennessee regular-gas average of $3.701 per gallon on July 31, 2026. The Columbia station’s listed price of $3.699 was therefore 0.2 cents lower than the statewide average.
AAA’s Tennessee data showed regular gas at $3.715 a week earlier and $3.419 a month earlier. The year-over-year comparison was higher: Tennessee’s average was $2.764 a year earlier, making the July 31 statewide price 93.7 cents higher.
Diesel is 1.4 cents below Tennessee’s average
The same Columbia station listed diesel at $4.999 per gallon. AAA’s Tennessee diesel average was $5.013 on July 31, putting the station listing 1.4 cents below the statewide figure.
AAA listed Tennessee diesel at $4.933 a week earlier, $4.504 a month earlier and $3.455 a year earlier. The July 31 statewide diesel average was therefore $1.558 higher than a year earlier.
Why the numbers matter locally
For commuters and households, a station price close to the state average means small differences between nearby locations may matter when filling a tank. Drivers should compare several Columbia stations because one listing cannot establish the lowest or typical price across the city.
Diesel costs can also affect contractors, delivery operators, farmers, landscapers, restaurants and other service businesses. Higher statewide prices compared with last summer may add pressure to operating budgets, delivery charges, service calls and weekend travel, even when an individual Columbia station is close to the state average.
