Fatal Crash on Denfield Street

Durham, NC — January 30, 2026 — A tragic accident occurred on the 4700 block of Denfield Street on January 29, resulting in two fatalities and two individuals with life-threatening injuries. The incident involved a 2015 Ford Explorer that veered off the road and struck a tree. The victims have been identified as Jordon Jones, 22, and Kymarion Williams, 20, both from Durham. The remaining passengers were transported to a nearby hospital. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
