Eagle Mountain Sets Hearing on Proposed Public-Safety Tax Increase
Eagle Mountain residents will have an opportunity to comment Aug. 6 on a proposed property-tax increase included in the city’s tentative fiscal 2026–27 budget.
The Eagle Mountain City Council has scheduled a Truth in Taxation hearing for 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026. The hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers at 1650 E. Stagecoach Run.
The proposed increase is intended to support public safety, according to the city’s public meeting notice. It remains part of a tentative budget and is not an approved tax increase or final spending plan.
Residents can comment before final action
