Edmond Public Schools (EPS) has announced a two-proposition bond totaling $140 million, aiming to fund the completion of Post Oak Elementary and Horizon Middle School, as well as the acquisition of new buses and vehicles. The bond election is scheduled for February 10, 2026.
Details of the Bond Proposals
The first proposition seeks $136.4 million for the construction of Post Oak Elementary and Horizon Middle School. These schools are planned for the southeast corner of Air Depot Boulevard and Covell Road, with Post Oak Elementary set to open this fall and Horizon Middle School scheduled for fall 2028.
The second proposition requests $3.65 million for the purchase of new buses and vehicles to support the district’s transportation needs.
