Major Crash Closes FM 2499 for Hours

On Thursday, a significant vehicle accident occurred on southbound FM 2499 near Lakeside Village Blvd./Silveron Blvd., resulting in a five-hour road closure. The incident involved a grey Ford pickup truck crossing into the southbound lanes and colliding with a white Volvo SUV. The pickup truck driver sustained serious injuries, while the SUV driver had minor injuries. Traffic was diverted at Lakeside Parkway during the closure.
